The Arab Career Development Association (ACDA) is proud to be recognized by the Center for Credentialing & Education (CCE) as a Registered Credential Training Provider (RCTP) for training associated with the internationally recognized Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF®) credential.
This recognition represents an important milestone in ACDA’s mission to strengthen professional standards, expand access to internationally aligned career development education, and build the capacity of career practitioners throughout the Arab world.

As a CCE Registered Credential Training Provider, ACDA can provide approved training associated with the GCDF credential in accordance with the program and delivery formats approved by CCE.

What Is the GCDF®?
A Global Credential with Nearly Three Decades of History
The Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF®) credential was developed by the Center for Credentialing & Education in collaboration with the National Career Development Association and the National Occupational Information Coordinating Committee. The U.S. credentialing program began in 1997 and later expanded internationally under the GCDF name.

GCDF and the Arab World
A Journey Built Over Years
The introduction of GCDF concepts and professional preparation into the Arab region has been part of a much longer journey to establish career development as a recognized professional field rather than a collection of isolated services.
ACDA’s leadership has been involved in introducing and promoting GCDF-based professional development in the region since the early stages of the field’s development in the Arab world.
Over the years, that early vision has evolved from introducing international career development practices to developing an Arab professional ecosystem involving practitioner training, conferences, professional communities, competency development, and locally relevant approaches to career services.
Today, that journey enters a new stage.

ACDA’s Role as a Registered Credential Training Provider
As a CCE Registered Credential Training Provider, ACDA provides CCE-approved GCDF-related training in accordance with the scope and format of its RCTP approval.
ACDA’s role is to provide the approved professional preparation and learning experience. The GCDF credential itself is awarded and administered by the Center for Credentialing & Education (CCE), and candidates must independently satisfy CCE’s applicable credentialing requirements.
