3 unforgettable days!
LinkedIn is a professional social media platform I know. But these posts are not for any personal Branding purposes. I am really feeling very touched with all the great souls I got to meet during this conference! What an authentic experience and how down to earth and true to themselves those people are! from organizers, to career practitioners and colleagues to the adorable amazing youth who came all the way over from south of Egypt bearing all the difficulties of the road to attend and learn and build their future! What the potential of people like those would look like if they’re doing this from an early age like that!
I’m out of words seriously, feeling happy and heavy that this short dream came to an end but looking forward to the next year conference hopefully we’ll be able to make it and meet these beautiful powerful souls again❤️❤️

I was honored to participate in ACDC2024, with more than 1,000 young people and aspiring professionals from various countries. Valuable workshops, panels, and sessions were held to empower talented youth and pave the way for a prosperous future.
I enjoyed conducting a session on “The Power of Personal Branding,” where I had the opportunity to meet with young startups and guide them in building their own brands.
I want also to shed light on my short TedTalk, sharing the transformative impact of Career Development on my journey from Civil Engineering and Sales to Communications and PR.
I extend my sincere gratitude to Dr. Ahmed Mostafa Kamal my mentor since 2006 and the president of the Arab Career Development Association, for this invaluable opportunity.

Today is the last day of the Second Arab Conference on Career Development in Alexandria 🇪🇬, which concluded with valuable sessions and important discussions on advancing careers through the private sector and youth employment. It also featured a comprehensive analysis of professional development, offering a fresh perspective on the challenges and opportunities faced by young people.

As the weather in the Netherlands missed the memo about the summer, we sure did not miss our invite to be a part of the second Arab Career Development Conference in sunny Alexandria this year!
After being a part of the very first career development conference in the Arab states last February, we are thrilled to be back with all the inspiring and devoted people in the space. This year the conference kicked off with a Career Week Program that brought together over 170 participants from the Arab world, and offered the opportunity for young people to work together with career experts to uncover their career potential, and explore the world of work. They had the chance to learn more from established professionals, such as Ahmed Mostafa Kamal Muath Bin Hussain, Dr. Brian Hutchison, and Marty Apodaca
This week, the conference continues with insights and learnings from different experts in the field of career development and guidance from the Arab world and beyond. The conference is organized by GROWAT in partnership with several organizations, such as UNICEF, Ministry of Youth & Sports of Egypt, Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, The Embassy of Switzerland in Egypt, and Embassy of the Netherlands in Egypt.
SkillLab is represented by our Mary Ramsis who teamed up with Dr. Brian Hutchison to talk about the long-lasting impact the skill-based approach can have in career development. For all the attendees that would like to hear more about it, their session will happen tomorrow at 10.30 EEST.
We are very glad to be a part of the growing career development space in the Arab states, and see it thrive more and more!

Egycopt’s team was honored to present the organization’s initiatives and activities to an audience of 1,200 youth and distinguished figures from the Middle East and Europe, highlighting the foundation’s commitment to empowering young people with technical and soft skills training to prepare them for the labor market, perfectly aligning with the conference’s objectives.
We extend our sincere gratitude to UNICEF Egypt, Ministry of Youth & Sports of Egypt, and GROWAT for taking the initiative to organize such an impactful event, and to the esteemed lecturers for sharing their knowledge and expertise with us.

Last week, I was living a dream… I had an extraordinary experience, and I think that experience changed me for better or for worse.
It started with the Career Week Program and ended with the Second Arab Career Development Conference.
I was loved, encouraged, nurtured, taught, lifted up, and listened to. I listened, learned, danced, expressed myself, trained, talked, tried new things, and met amazing new people.
I ate a variety of foods (healthy and not so healthy), but all were delicious.
The people were from another planet… kind, beautiful, lovely, friendly, caring, funny, and generous.
I have never, ever experienced life in that way.
I spoke at the conference about mental focus and how to use self-awareness to develop that skill. I loved the audience and how they were “FOCUSING” during my seminar.
I did so many things, but what happened in that hall, stays in that hall. 😂 😉
